Angels Calendars. It all began in 2015. When it had to be an angel calendar in which these heavenly messengers played music. Of course, every calendar produced by the Publishing House was initially supposed to have something to do with music. Except for the later wine calendars, since the Publishing House is “based” in a small wine-growing community. About 20 angels from Wendt & Kühn once formed a heavenly orchestra. And the first angel calendar. Bach 4 You published it for a full nine years. Every year, over and over again ... the same one. Due to a lack of another 20 musical Wendt & Kühn angels, and because by then every fan of these exclusive little angels had surely ordered “their” angels calendar – plus, because people rarely hang the same calendar on their wall twice – the Publisher decided to replace it. And the “Heavenly Musicians,” as it was once titled, became the work Heavenly Music. You can discover this second Angels Calendar starting in 2025/26 right here. With a single click. There, it’s also listed among the music calendars. Precisely because the little angels are all making music.

A Very Unusual Offer..

Since fall 2025, “Bach 4 You” has been the Publisher on Earth offering the most angels calendars. Is that unusual? No. It’s just the way it is. But what, then, is so unusual? The demand for angels calendars is unprofitable for a tiny publishing house. Because without marketing or advertising – and without a big-name brand behind it – too few interested customers find the high-quality and diverse selection at “Bach 4 You.” Even with a print run of just 20 copies per angels calendar, most would almost certainly end up as waste paper in the trash. Even processing 600 monthly pages for twelve calendar page titles each doesn’t make sense. But you can, of course, view these pages anyway. How does that work? And where can you do that? Shortly after the Publishing House was founded, we called this calendar style the “50:50 style.” Or the “U.S. style.” This refers to calendars with a large calendar section occupying the bottom 50 percent. It is the calendar style actually preferred in the U.S. ... and perhaps in other countries around the world as well. Here in Germany, such calendars are available as very affordable, even cheap calendars: at Kaufland and similar supermarkets, as well as in retail stores, in paper shops..

Is the “Bach 4 You” Publishing House the only publisher that offers its calendars in two different styles? Most likely ... yes. We initially called the more elegant version the “European style.” That is, high-end calendars of the kind that people – at least in Germany – prefer purely for decorative purposes. The entire monthly page is a work of art. Or an impressive photograph. With minimal text, such as the current month and the calendar dates..

In the U.S., you can’t tell just by looking at a calendar that’s shrink-wrapped whether it’s a “European-style calendar” or a “50:50-style calendar.” Would you like to see what a “50:50-style calendar page” looks like? You can do that below the next paragraph..

What happens – in America (…and, of course, here too)– after you peel off the film from a calendar? Once the film is removed, a “50:50-style” calendar transforms into a kind of tool: with a 50-percent section above the fold featuring motifs, photos, or drawings that depict the calendar’s theme. And there’s a large grid below the fold where you can add notes. A poster-style calendar is more of a work of art that you could hang on the wall in any room of your home. Like a beautiful picture. A “50:50-style” calendar is the kind you’d probably only hang in your kitchen or utility room. By the way, in Germany it’s called a “brochure calendar.”
