Bach FAQ 130

Bach Posters, Bach Nail Art Work, Bach Thread Picture, Bach String Art Work ... What Actually Is That?..

Bach posters, you’re familiar with these. But a Bach thread picture, or a Bach nail picture? You might not have heard of those yet. Because it didn’t occur to me “just like that” that this is something truly special. If you’ve never heard that, aside from the usual Bach posters, there are also options like “nail art” and “thread art” for wall decor, then of course you can’t just google it. And you certainly also can’t find it..

Of course: Bach posters, specifically Johann Sebastian Bach posters. They are also available from the Publisher Bach 4 You. They’re not just sitting around there ... but ready to ship ... as soon as you place your order. No ... we produce Bach posters individually. More precisely: You have it produced ... your Bach poster. And we do this through our online partners: Zazzle offers the best selection in the US and Canada. Spreadshirt offers the best selection here in Germany and in the EU. How do you get your hands on such a Bach poster? Click here to visit the five “Bach-4-You shops” online. From there, click through to the “poster section” on Zazzle or Spreadshirt. Then order your Bach poster there, pay, and look forward to the postman delivering it..

Your path to the Bach poster. And later, to the Bach nail art or Bach thread art as well. If the image above and the topic have sparked your curiosity, please read on for a moment. You’ll discover why we’ve found the very best artist who creates such thread art – and yes, they can also be called nail art – in the most impressive way, and at the most affordable price. What a creative collaboration. For us, it’s the discovery if the year 2022. Click here to view the Bach poster. © P. Bach, Jr..

The one at the top isn't a Bach poster ... we don't need to promote that separately. It's enough to have it in the shop. There you can see the designs that are already available today. Next year there will be more posters. No ... above are the first nail image and the second thread image. Or vice versa: the first thread image and the second nail image ... right ... a play on words. You may already know me: That’s how it is everywhere on this Bach website..

Where a Bach Poster Impresses, a Bach Nail Art Design or a Composer Thread Image Is Sure to Impress Even More

In fact, we met our partner André Gall through a TV report on “n-tv”, Kind a CNN. He creates these nail art designs for us. And not just for us. But also for wedding couples, for animal lovers, and with a few designs that are already finished, for anyone who wants to decorate a wall in their home with something elegant: You send in a photo ... and André creates a first-class nail art piece, or thread art, from it. Does he also make posters? No, he doesn’t make posters.

Of course, we googled it immediately after seeing the TV report. And we did find a few other vendors who make similar products. In our opinion, however, they’re nowhere near the caliber of the artist André from Karlsruhe, Germany.

Since you’re used to this from the Bach on Bach project and the Bach 4 You Publishing House, we also looked into other vendors offering similar artworks. What did we find? Significantly higher prices, DIY options, exclusively round shapes, and truly exorbitant prices. Is a Bach nail art piece or a Bach thread art piece more expensive than a Bach poster? You bet ... of course it is! But it’s a work of art, not just a print on paper. Or on canvas. But ... it’s affordable!

Nail art or thread art ... both are very challenging to photograph. It requires a photographer (... that’s my husband, a pro...) and an understanding of a few key factors. So: A simulation shows the shadows that are likely to result from the lighting. This sometimes appears as blurriness. We had serious reservations, but ordered one of these first nail art / thread art pieces anyway. And indeed, what André Gall postulates is true: When it arrives, you unpack it ... and are “blown away.” It didn’t turn out any better than expected. It turned out two grades better. We would never again hang a Bach poster on the wall of our choice instead of a Bach nail art or Bach thread art piece. And as photographed above, it comes close to the impression you get after unpacking it. Click here to return to the shop and explore all the “departments.”

Topic: Bach posters, Bach nail art, Bach thread art. You’re familiar with so-called “starting at” prices. You see a great product, read the starting price, and instinctively think, “Well, what’s shown here must be the smallest option.” Hardly anyone pulls out a tape measure. And we were amazed at just how large a size you can get for the money. That’s right: This thread picture/nail picture above is available for an incredibly “low price.” It doesn’t need to be any bigger ... unless ... you own a palace. Or a castle.

Wartburg Castle ... in Bach Country ... as we call this region in Thuringia, Germany. It could also make a great wall decoration for your home – available in large and even larger sizes – for just a few Euros, or Dollars, more. But as mentioned: Instead of a poster on one of your walls at home, André’s standard size will likely be large than enough. Here’s my promise: A 3D nail art piece like this of Bach, or a 3D thread art piece of other Classical Composers ... will ( ! ) be the “eye-catcher.” © Info.

By the way, the same goes for the Wachsenburg castle up there. And in the Land of the Bache, too. Could you also have a nail picture, a thread picture, or a poster made of the two images above? Of course: of the Wartburg or the Wachsenburg.

Well ... you're thrilled ... but now you want a nail art image of yourselves as a couple at your wedding? Okay, you can do that without us and order directly from André Gall. And how much does that cost? It costs exactly one Euro more or one Dollar than our Bach thread art and our composer nail art image. Why is that? Just for fun. So we can say (... and write) that a nail picture/thread picture from us is actually cheaper than from André. Yeah ... again ... that’s just how we are. And André also offers a tiger picture, Marilyn Monroe, and Albert Einstein. At the same price, if it’s the same size.

Back to the information about Bach posters / Bach nail art / Bach thread art. How is it made? When you order from André in Karlsruhe ... and that’s how we do it too ... two robots are put to work. And they’re as quick as a weasel. But first, of course, you need a suitable image. Color or black-and-white ... but the nail art is always black-and-white. Some areas appear gray from a distance. But they aren’t. Back to the image. André generates a file from it. Upon request, he will then provide you with a simulated thread/nail art image. Electronically, of course.

The next step is driving in the nails. With this robot, that no longer means days or even weeks of hammering. Instead, it’s done in a flash. There are three key factors that distinguish a computer-produced piece from one made by hand.

First, there’s the depth at which the nails are hammered in. The nails are driven in very firmly. And that’s important so your artwork doesn’t get damaged when you carefully dust it off. Second, the nails are hammered in at equal intervals across the surface. This helps create an even paint effect. Finally, thirdly, the nails are all driven into the substrate to exactly the same depth. It’s not a case of one nail being a centimeter deep while the one next to it is only half a centimeter deep.

Right: The buttons on Bach's jacket aren't actually white. They're just not black, so the white background shows through.

That’s absolutely cool, because basically you’re buying “two pictures” and displaying them at home. First, of course, there’s the complete ensemble consisting of the thread/nail artwork with its pseudo-passe-partout and, finally, the decorative aluminum frame. But then there’s also that “aha moment” when friends, family, or visitors come to your home and get up close to this eye-catching piece. Now are you finally interested in the complete motif? Gladly.

Here it is ... and here's the Bach seal again. Also, please note: Don't let yourself be fooled. These aren't blurry images, even if they appear that way on some devices or in some browsers. As it should be, so you don't have to search for long, here's a link again to this exact page in the shop. There you'll find many more detailed photos.
