No, no... and again, no!..
There is no such thing as Classical Music for children. Okay, of course, there are one or two pieces that claim to be perfect for children. And indeed, “Peter and the Wolf” was composed for children. And “equipped” with a story..
But then why are there so many “Classical Music for Kids” offerings? Because you can make money with it!..
The Four Seasons ... they are always featured when it comes to Classical Music for Kiddies. Why? Listen to the first five minutes of it. What is special about it for the youngest music consumers?! Nothing. One provider copies from another. And so does one author from the last..
Hurray ... but there is the„Kindersinfonie" (... “Children's Symphony”) by Leopold Mozart, the father of the famous Wolfgang Amadeus. In it, you can hear a whistle, a rattle, a drum, and a cuckoo call between the melody: now, if that isn't child-friendly. Seriously?!..
