How Many Biographies on Johann Sebastian Bach Exist Worldwide?

There are some 700 biographies about Johann Sebastian Bach existing worldwide. In different languages and written and published in a time frame of at least more than two hundred and fifty years. The first one was created by the trio Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, the son of Johann Sebastian Bach, Bach's student Agricola and Mizler de Kolof.

How do you figure out such a number? With the Bach Bibliography of Professor Yo Tomita at the university of Belfast, Ireland. There are some 53,000 publications about Bach collected and categorized. Not just books, but dissertations as well and articles in newspapers too and essays. With that data you are ready to count and to start an extrapolation. That is how I counted some estimated seven thousand biographies.
